At Cobalt Engagement, we work alongside government, developers, infrastructure providers, and private sector clients to ensure that places are designed with the people who live, work and connect in them—not just for them. Community and Stakeholder Engagement
We have extensive experience across a wide range of community and stakeholder engagement projects. This includes chairing community panels and forums, conducting in-person and online workshops, surveys, in-depth interviews and youth workshops.

Place-based visioning and co-design
We create workshops and collaborative design processes that bring diverse voices into project shaping —from residents and local businesses to youth, children, land owners, decision makers and cultural groups.
Built environment and public domain engagement and placemaking
We help define and shape built form and public realm projects with community at the centre —ensuring outcomes that reflect local context, culture and aspirations. Integrated urban and regional planning engagement services
As experienced urban and regional planners and engagement practitioners, we continuously learn from our experiences and integrate learnings into our approach and services. Our engagement services seamlessly integrate across planning, development, strategy, policy development, business case development, investment, and governance processes. We collaborate with built environment, infrastructure and capital professionals to deliver strategies and plans that support a resilient and sustainable future.
Energy transition engagement
We support renewable energy and infrastructure proponents to engage with rural and regional communities through listening, dialogue and trust-building grounded in local values. We have a track record of working closely with regional communities and understand the pressures and the opportunities that the energy transition is providing. We create positive, respectful and engaging forums and activities for diverse community members and stakeholders.
Resilience and adaption co-design and strategy
We specialise in designing engagement and co-design methodologies to support and deliver resilience and adaption planning, including place resilience, design briefs, preparedness and recovery plans. We collaborate with a variety of technical specialists and are flexible to join multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects that affect positive change.
